ALPHA PHI OMEGA'S 4th ANNUAL MOBILE FOOD PANTRY

With the help of Wegmans and Foodlink, the Alpha Beta Xi chapter of Alpha Phi Omega located at SUNY Geneseo will be hosting their 3rd Annual Mobile Food Pantry. Families with their admittance ticket will be allowed to take part in this event. We have offered food items in the past such as fresh produce, meat, frozen goods, bread, canned goods and much more. In our last two years of doing this project, we’ve helped over 240 families and over 600 people living in the county. Volunteers will be available during this event to assist with carrying groceries for the elderly or families with young children. Please click on our worksheets page for more information about what you'll need to bring for the mobile food pantry.
SNAP BENEFITS CLINIC

Representatives from the Rochester Foodlink location will be setting up a SNAP Benefits Clinic for all families and individuals that are qualified. SNAP offers nutrition assistance to millions of eligible, low-income individuals and families and provides economic benefits to communities. At this clinic, individuals and families can be screened to check for qualifications and will also have the opportunity to have their personal questions about the program answered.
DIY Recipe
We will also be having an area for people to make thier own recipe in a mug and bring it home! The contents will combine to create a healthy soup!
